Paris’ leading fashion house launches its first-ever Australian E-Boutique

From custom haute couture to fragrance, fine jewellery and watchmaking, Christian Dior has done it all. That said, it, of course, came as no surprise to find out the Parisian fashion house would be launching their very own dedicated online fashion boutique, Dior.com, right here in Australia.

Whether it’s the cult ‘Saddle Bag, ‘J’adior Slingback Pumps’ or perhaps better yet, the old classic ‘J’adore Eau De Parfum’, women of Australia either have or want a slice of the luxury brand.

Since Christian Dior’s very first Australian tour in 1948, the Parisian brand has remained a fond favourite amongst the men and women of Australia.

The brand’s initial in-store presence on Aussie soil dates back to 1947 when renowned Australian retailer David Jones reproduced four of Dior’s garments as part of the store “Paris fashion for all” line.

Fast Forward to today, the now globally successful fashion house has over 205 stores internationally, with four stand-alone boutiques in Australia.

Now don’t get me wrong, we Australian women love nothing more than an in-store browse of Dior’s latest arrivals. Unfortunately, due to a worldwide pandemic, limited stock and increased demand, Aussies have been cut short when it comes to brand availability.  That was, of course, until now.

Reading the minds of many women around Australia, the French fashion house has launched the brands very first online fashion boutique, Dior.com, right here in Australia.

What Can We Expect From Dior Online Boutique Australia?

Accessible to customers from the 16th of September, Dior.com is the first of its kind in Australia. Operating as an easily accessible online boutique, the site will be somewhat of a big sister to the brand physical stores.

Although in-store retail boutiques remain operating, Dior Online Boutique Australia provides consumers with the option to shop in the comfort of their home, which seems very appropriate considering the current state of the world.

The online boutique is set to stock everything from the latest ready-to-wear, fine jewellery homewares and more.

Brace yourself, Dior has taken it one step further and announced the site would provide an exclusive selection of products, available from the online boutique and the online boutique only. A few household favourites said to be included in the site exclusive product pool include the eternally covetable ‘Lady Dior‘ bag in yarrow pink. Featuring quilted leather and enamelled charms, this is set to be a sell-out.

Another much-loved favourite to feature exclusively is the ‘Dior Book Tote, an item many women may describe as the arm candy of accessories. The highly versatile tote is sturdy and practical whilst being simple and stylish.

Without spoiling the fun of surprises, one more said to be exclusive is the Velvet Grey ‘Cannage’ headband, complementing the ‘Mizza’ embroidery. Featuring the brands unique Mizza embroidery, this baby will sell like hotcakes, so get ready to click quick.

Thanks to the new and easy-to-use site, the act of rushing to David Jones to get my hands on that last pair of ‘Slingback Pump’s’ seems foreign. A thing of the past. An ordeal I will need not ever endure again.

Having launched was is set to be yet another successful project in the digital realm, Dior is sure to have ruffled a few feathers amongst the other LVMH conglomerate of brands.

As I’m sure we have all heard, but I will say again…The future is digital; brands can either get on board or get left behind.  Whether it came down to Dior fine-tuning their research or Maria Chiuri steering the ship, I am confident to say the men and women of Australia have been heard.

We wanted convenience, options, and more products, and ultimately, Dior.com delivers just that.
