This week we are having a conversation with Bec Miller, Qualified Clinical Nutritionist and the founder of Health with Bec. @health_with_bec  on how to stay focus. Below a list of her top 4 tips to achieve maximum focus and productivity.

Mornings are my favourite time of the day! It’s where I definitely seem to get the most focus work done and my mind is clear. I find that if I have a good morning and stick to my usual morning routine, I am set up for the day! However, remember that everyone’s will be different and that’s ok! Here are a few essential tips that I believe will help everyone start their day though.

How to Stay Focus?

  • Set SMART goals
  • Fuel your Body
  • Put a lock on social media
  • Coffee
  • Get Rid of any distraction
  • Get enough sleep

1. First Thing Coffee

The first thing I do when I wake up is pour myself a cup of Beforeyouspeak Coffee. I honestly don’t know what I did before I discovered this miracle in a cup, it doesn’t only taste amazing but it gives me a buzz and helps me stay alert and happy.

Caffeine has been scientifically proven to improve attention, alertness and focus. It also gives me extra energy for my exercise. Loaded with turmeric & black pepper, this blend of coffee has added anti-inflammatory benefits and it also increases your cognitive function from the added MCT oil and ginseng.

2. Get Moving

Move your body! With the extra time that we all now have where we used to spend travelling to work, we have some extra time up our sleeves to get in a workout. Do an at-home workout or take the paths to get that body moving. This does wonders for productivity! I like to move my body every morning after an hour or 2 of work as it helps my mindset, energy and mood immensely.

3. Declutter

As the saying goes, “clear desk, clear mind”, or something like that… Before I sit down for a day of work, I like to ensure my workspace is clean and free of any clutter or mess. This again, helps my mind feel focused and in the zone all day. I then like to write down a list of things I need to get done by lunch and tick them off as I go.

4. Get Motivated with Podcast

If my exercise for the day is a long walk (which it is on about 4 days of the week), I like to find a motivational podcast that gives me my motivation for the day. They’re usually something different to nutrition or health, which is what I do all day, so I like to switch it up to something business based. Being a solo business owner, I need constant advice and help on how to continually grow and stay mentally motivated, so I find listening to these help me immensely! My all-time favourite is Socialette
