What is Face Halo?

Basically, Face Halo’s halo tech fibres reach deep into pores to remove all your makeup better than anything else without the need of any cleanser. The technology of the Face Halo is designed to get into your pores and lift the makeup and impurities out and trap them in the tech fibres.

Even-though it sounds hard to believe, this eco-friendly pad only needs water to remove ALL your make-up (doesn’t matter how much mascara or foundation you were wearing that day). I like to compare it with makeup wipes but these bad boys actually get the job done and are environmentally-conscious too, which is very important for us.

How to use it?

The Face Halo Review

As a person who has always have skin problems (acne, dermatitis, dry skin, the list goes on) I’m very careful with what I put on my skin — Yes, I’m that kind of person who likes to double cleanse and take seriously my skincare at night so I would never go to bed with makeup on — even if I’m back home after 12 pm, doesn’t mean I can skip a few steps and get the same results, I won’t do It —

After all the hype and halo facial reviews I seem all over the internet I was keen to try it for myself, and here is what I think.

The ultra-soft fluffy pad by face halo Australia is very gentle on the skin (great for sensitive skin too) it is made of ultra-fine microfibers so it feels extremely good when you rub it on and soon it turns a brownish colour as it takes off all the makeup, including mascara and permanent lipstick. Does it transfer? No, the fibre really gets rid of all the makeup, is almost miraculous how quickly makeup washes off and nothing else comes off.

As I wasn’t 100% convinced, about how that was possible, I use the clean side of the pad after using the other side, and surprisingly nothing came off, my face was completely clean with not even a rest of makeup.

The Verdict

Will I substitute my double cleanser for the Face Halo? To be honest I still felt the need or maybe the pleasure to use my cleansing balms but if I’m in one of those days where skincare is not part of the plan or just need a quick fix make-up removal, or even after the gym I’ll definitely go for it.

Can you use face halo with cleanser? That’s one of the best parts? you only need water to clean your whole face, then, you can pop it in the washing machine up to 200 times, so I’d probably do this after a few uses, in the day-to-day, the Face Halo is easily washed with warm water and soap, and should be washed after every use to avoid any bacteria build-up, also it’s way cheaper and effective than conventional-toxics- and non-eco-friendly face wipes and looks chicest on your bathroom too.
