ZitSticka pimple patches are having a moment, so instead of picking and popping the skin, these bad boys help to get rid of those pimples without going to the mirror and attack the face. They are specifically designed to treat below-the-surface the skin before the spot takes over the face.

To see if they were really worth the hype, I tested ZitSticka Killa in the name of clear skin.

Does ZitSticka Killa pimple patches actually work?

The easy and Instagram worthy two-step system is made to help clear blemishes’ appearance faster than conventional patches. The peachy and white box comes in one side with eight individually packaged wipes with salicylic acid, tea tree oil, and vitamin E to gently exfoliate the skin. Plus eight hydrocolloid bandages — filled with acne-fighting and skin-healing ingredients — covered with dissolvable micro-darts that gently penetrate the top two layers of skin to push their magic into every kind of zit at every stage.

The difference between traditional patches is that they only work on pimples that have already popped; however, these genius invisible patches treat unpopped, underground spots using itty-bitty, medication-filled micro-darts.

How to use ZitSticka Killa?

Let’s start from the beginning; I have combination skin with hormonal breakouts and hyperpigmentation. Even though my zits are now more controlled, I still get some spots these times of the month, especially on my jaw. I’m currently using a gentle milk cleanser from DMK, a melanotech drop that treats my tone, vitamin c and hyaluronic acid during the day and retinol at night and, of course, some masking in between.

I was almost tempted to see that red spot on my face to pop one of these invisible patches and track the results. Tough job, right? Someone has to do it…

Once the zits appeared on my skin, I waited until nighttime, washed my face as usual and pressed the Killa patch on my zit — holding it for around 10 seconds — to help it adhere. The tiny micro darts on the sticky side of each sticker feels a bit prickly when you first press but isn’t painful at all. ZitSticka Australia recommends leaving the patch on for at least two hours, but I decided to apply it right before bed to give it a full night to work, and yes, I loved how quickly—and how well—they actually work.

When I woke up the following day, the zit was almost gone, still a bit pink but noticeably calmer, so I decided to go for second use and yes, within 48 hours, the zit had cleared up completely, and I was shocked.

The takeaway ZitSticka Killa Pimple Patches Review

Even though these genius patches won’t replace my skincare routine — they are a fantastic option to have on your bedside table when an occasional zit decides to pop at inappropriate timing.

However, if you are dealing with acne, and need to apply ZitSticka daily, then $39 will add up fast, considering the box comes with only eight patches.
