Belen

EPI & GN Serum, Ellus & Krue

It doesn’t happen quite often that you felt in love with a product from day 1, but exceptions aside, the EPI-GN Serum from Ellus & Krue is definitely worth the spending.

A powerhouse of antioxidants that supports cell renewal and assists with skin barrier repair, calm redness, and also hydrates without leaving that greasy feeling.

One of its love points? It’s packed with active ingredients like Curcumin, that helps to increase skin elasticity and decrease pigmentation, it’s anti-inflammatory. Including Curcumin in your skincare routine will improve your skin’s overall tone will leave your skin firmer and enhance its texture; or French Lilac extract which is a plant antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals on the face, leaving the skin deeply hydrated and giving you that all-time-glow. The dynamic combination of active ingredients, improves skin tone and enhance texture for firmer, glowing skin.

The Serum also includes Hyaluronic Acid, a big yes, from me, it’s never too early to start preventing skin aging along with Peptides which are linked amino acids that help repair the collagen network, a total must to take on board if you suffer from acne scars like me.

To sum up, a pretty good add-on to your winter skincare routine, even if you have sensitive skin.

Brilliance Shine Mist, Davroe

I didn’t used to pay that much attention to my hair as tend to do with my face, but the lockdown has definitely changed my haircare game, having more time on my hands I start giving my mane the love it deserves, I have really thick and curly hair which sometimes it’s kind of a nightmare to deal with but taking a step beyond on my haircare routine has taught me that curly hair can look good too if you treat it well, mask, hydrate and do it again, this is my new hairy mantra.

As a beauty editor, I prefer to treat my face, body, and now my hair too with natural products, the Brilliance Shine Mist from Davroe is vegan-friendly, kind to the environment and contains flower extracts alongside its natural oils (Camellia Seed and Abyssinian).

What I love the most? A lightweight formula, that enhances dull hair without adding oiliness and provides natural protection leaving a visible long-lasting shimmer to any hairstyles, a plus for me its anti-humidifying property, keeping frizz at bay. So easy to use and take it with you that it’s hard you won’t fall in love right away, CF word.

I think that’s why my hands are loving it so deeply, it might also be the beautiful floral scent that carries along. A full-bodied intensity build up on bergamot notes at the top, Jasmine and Ylang Ylang at its heart and musk, and cedarwood as base note.

A homey exploration capturing the essence of sweet pea and Australasian white jasmine, don’t forget its uplifting notes of watermelon and cucumber. The ultimate elegant and floral explosion your skin is craving for, leaving a long-lasting aroma to master the art of staying cozy at home.

Bqk – Radiance Face Serum, Biologi

Kakadu Plum + Quandong

As you may know it, stress is at the route of countless skin issues, leading to inflammation, breakouts, and aging and with the COVID-19 and the lockdown, it has been a whole challenge to keep my skin on point as stress is one of the trickiest-to-treat issues in skincare. But, lucky me I had a simple plant-based skincare duo by Biologi (2 steps with 0 complications) on my beauty cupboard that saved my breakouts and reduced my skin tone during the quarantine. This duo it’s been designed to target pigmentation, improve skin color and clarity while preventing further pigmentation (a big yes for me).

Why I loved them the most? Because it does what its pray, an AM – PM ritual plant-based that doesn’t contain any nasty chemicals that could be harmful to me or the environment.

Fabuloso Caramel, EVO

Once a week, I like to super-charge my hair and lie in my bath with the Evo Fabuloso Colour Intensifying Conditioner applied all over my hair length. The relaxation helps my hair internally, and the warmth and steam of the bath help the penetration of the product to maintain and extend the life of my color.  Its rich formula boosts my caramel tone, minimizing brassiness and maintaining a beautifully toned shade. Totally color-safe and rich in essential hydration and nutrients to keep hair strong and healthy.

Why I loved it the most? Because it’s an ammonia-free, peroxide-free formula is gentle on both the scalp and hair!

Good Kin Pure, 230 Pink Cardamon, Sally Hansen

Going to the salon is has been simply not an option in the past two months, for me and for everyone else, and there’s never been a bad time to master doing my own manicure at home, so I recently have discovered Sally Hansen’s good.kind.pure for my at-home easy manicures and I can’t love it more. A clean formula, made with plant-based, 100% vegan ingredients (even the packaging includes a plant-based brush!).

Why I love it the most? Because the range has soft and natural colors, it provides radiant, healthy-looking nails and there are incredibly long-lasting and chicer than chic. My favorite one is a gorgeous 230 Pink Cardamon.
