Tricks and Tips to Have a More Productive Day

Create a morning routine that works for you: Don’t try to copy other’s routines if you think it’s not right for you, you need to find something that you can stick to.

  • Try to wake up early and stay in bed a few minutes so your brain will start to be aware a new day is going to start.
  • Get out of bed and meditate for a period of 5-10 min, it’ll help yourself to be more present on your day.
  • Do some journaling, elaborate a list about how you want your day to be, you can be as specific as you desire, if you’re comfy with his technique, we recommend you do one focus on your personal/social life and another one work focused.
  • Work out at home, at the gym, go for a run or a simple walk but take those endorphins out, you’ll feel way more energised after this.

Practice time batching: You may not heard about it before, but is one of the best things to do in order to get the most out of the 24h. This means that you set up a time frame to focus on a certain thing instead of trying to do 10000 things a time, no social media is allowed as you want your brain not to be distracted with anything.

  • Set up alarms on a time frame with the objective you want to achieve, starting and ending time.
  • Use apps like Flow Timer, it’ll bring structure to your workflow and it’s so easy to use, it even set your breaks up so you don’t have to worry about a thing.
  • Do small things everyday, it’s much better when you take out of some hours in your everyday rather than spend a whole day doing the same thing.

Prioritise your activities: According highly productive people you should divide your tasks.

  • Urgent
  • Not Urgent
  • Important
  • Not Important

This will mainly help you not directly but on a more indirect way by giving you a broad sense about planning, preparation as well as learning and investing in yourself. You’ll learn to put first things first by not stressing yourself out.

Read and learn from others: Be open to learn from people well-know on your industry, from people you think it could bring something valuable to your life.

  • Read paper-books, magazines, e-books.
  • Listen to audiobooks if you feel you don’t have the strength to actually read.
  • Listen to podcasts, about anything from business advice, self-care, beauty tips, career focused interviews…

Finish your day with a night routine: Same as with our mornings, you should have a night routine that works just for you.

  • Gratitude journaling, review your morning goals for the day and celebrate small wins achieved.
  • Meditate before you go to sleep as it’ll will help calm your mind down and prepare it to rest.
  • Repeat your affirmations of the day, learn more about this on our previous article about Manifestation.
  • Create dream-boards digitally or manually with the goals you want to achieve, try to be as specific and precise as possible so your mind can have a better approach on what you’d like to attract into your life.
