After many years of writing beauty pieces, I think it’s safe to say that most of us have got our daily facial skin care routine down the track. However, we tend to overlook our body care routine using products full of ingredients that we can’t even pronounce, but with winter upon us and mother’s day 2021 around the corner, we’ve been searching for clean body care brands that sought away dead skin cell and take care of our skin barrier as it deserves — friendly reminder — our body is our largest organ and we need to love it and take care of it.

Lucky you, we are constantly founding new clean skin care brands like Ena that truly believes in a genuine approach to skincare. With a luxurious natural range that doesn’t contain any nasty chemicals or synthetic fragrances, Ena is made in Australia and doesn’t test on animals, plus the packaging is made with 100% recycled plastic bottles. Basically, it ticks all the boxes for me.

How to Have Silky Skin?

Here is my formula:

Close the bathroom door and — lock it if you have curious kids — fill the tub if you have one and light up your favourite candle so that a relaxing vibe will be set, and yes, get naked. Massage two pumps of Ena’s body oil aka “liquid gold” over your body. The oil feels incredibly luxurious thanks to the beautiful blend of rose, geranium and lavender, plus it is particularly good for dry and damaged skin, especially for the season ahead.

However, if you are not a bath person (or have an unwelcoming tub).

A Body Care Routine in the Shower

Baths are exceptional, but I also love showers and like pretty much everyone; I take them much more frequently than I take baths.

After a hot shower, our skin needs a little extra, right? Whether you’re from the team of body cream or you prefer body oils, Ena has both options for you. Ena’s body lotions melt right in (damp skin is more absorbent than dry skin), and this plant-based all-natural lotion is made with natural ingredients that are 100% genuine essential oils. It’s formulated to nourish and protect your whole body and doesn’t contain nasties chemicals that enable the skin to absorb and moisturise readily. The best part? it’s really lightweight, does the job, feels and smells incredibly delicate on the skin — just perfection and powerful moisturising.

Body Scrubs for Supersoft Skin

I like my showers scorching — I don’t recommend this — as it’s no great for the skin; however, the steaminess helps to open my pores. I smooth on a dab of the award-winning Ena body scrub which is such a moment.

For an incredibly skin-softening bath or shower, this luscious body scrub is made with the most beautiful ingredients like ethically sourced Himalayan Pink Salt combined with Pink Grapefruit, Lemon Myrtle & Eucalyptus essential oils, freshens the skin and uplifts the senses.

You’ll emerge from the shower very hydrated, so you don’t even need to apply moisturiser afterwards if you are feeling lazy. When I do it at least two or three times a week, my skin looks its most glowy, smoothest, and gleamy-limbed.

Lather up your Body

Use a daily moisturiser on its own like Ena lotion or under Ena Body oil as an extra intensive treatment. I like to use it as an after-sun treatment or when my skin feels dry during winter.

I like to alternate between these two: Rose Geranium & Lavender, and Jasmine, Mandarin & Bergamot; they are super nutrient and luxurious. The mix of plant-based, all-natural ingredients and 100% genuine essential oils is just a dream for the whole body.
