There’s a reason you’ve been seeing the Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation everywhere. From beauty editor round-ups to TikTok tutorials and GRWM videos. Created by Lady Gaga, it’s quickly become one of the best-selling foundations of 2025, and after putting it to the test, I completely understand why.
First Impressions: A Second-Skin Feel That’s Actually Real
Let’s start with the texture: the foundation has that gorgeous second skin feel, It’s got a natural finish, buildable medium coverage, and somehow manages to smooth everything out without ever looking heavy. With 51 inclusive shades, it’s one of the most extensive colour ranges out there. Shade matching might feel a little overwhelming at first, but the site does a great job showing real swatches on diverse skin tones, which makes things way easier.
Great for Sensitive & Acne-Prone Skin
Most full-coverage formulas are a no-go for me; they can suffocate it a bit, make my texture more obvious, or cause a new breakout by bedtime, but this one is different. It covers redness, pimples and uneven tone, yet still lets my skin breathe. The finish? Healthy, slightly glowy, and really natural looking.
It’s also packed with good for skin ingredients such as fermented arnica to calm inflammation (great if you’re prone to redness), squalane to hydrate, and a cocktail of plant oils that give it that nourishing feel. Plus, a little goes a long way. It’s expensive (AUD85.00), but one pump is usually more than enough for a natural makeup look, and you can always build it up where you need more coverage.
I personally like to let my moisturiser sink in properly first, then blend with fingers for that fresh, skin like look, or I use their foundation brush if I’m after a more polished finish for a date night or dinner with friends. Either way, the result is fantastic.
The Verdict? I am Into It.
I didn’t expect to love this as much as I do, but it’s officially earned its place in my makeup bag. It smooths, blurs, and hydrates without looking like makeup and the glowing reviews from others back it up…
Real Reviews from Shoppers
“Just bought this and worn it about 3/4 times, but it’s enough to have me obsessed. Definitely a new staple in my makeup collection”
“I though my Gucci foundation was the ultimate base, but here comes Lady Gaga with this very natural looking product. I would say this is truly ‘my skin, but better’ foundation. You can layer it for more coverage if you wish and it will still look like your skin. I would say that you can interchange it with the Armani Luminous Foundation.”
“I thought this foundation would be good but didn’t realise HOW GOOD it would be. Blurs your skin so well, beautiful skin like finish, full coverage. Easy to work with. 100% recommend.”
“I would give this foundation 6/5 stars. It’s perfect for my problem skin. I’m oily, textured and mature skinned with occasional breakouts. I wasn’t expecting how glowy this would look – and look good on my skin type. Somehow it doesn’t look oily by the end of day, nor patchy. Just smooth and like my skin but perfected. Will be my go to from now on.”
